Dad’s View

Jessi and I spent a couple days with her Dad in Prescott this week to celebrate Christmas with him.  We got there just in time for some good snow storms which made for some great scenery.  This was our view from the living room window while drinking our coffee on Thursday morning.  We had made a snowman the day before when we first arrived and, though he was leaning, he survived the storm overnight.  We estimated about 8-10 inches of snowfall and the wind was gusting up to 40 miles per hour throughout the night.  We got a few spots of sunlight in the morning when the snow stopped and I snapped this shot just before the clouds obscured the sun and the snow started up again.  Dad made us a tasty breakfast of huevos rancheros and then we headed out for some sledding before heading home around noon.
