The Kerr family (with our recent plus one) is back home after a beautiful natural birth at the Phoenix Baptist Hospital birthing center. Baby Zoe Clare Kerr joined us at 7:59 PM on Friday, March 16th weighing in at seven pounds, two ounces and twenty-one inches tall. This picture is, I’m sure, the first of many to come featuring our new treasure. I took this one just as we were about to leave our postpartum room as I couldn’t pass up trying a silhouette shot in front of the full window backed by a gorgeous cloudy sky.
Being with my wife as her coach through labor and watching my daughter be born in front of my eyes was the most amazing thing I’ve ever experienced. God’s design is truly spectacular! A special thank you to our Doula, Kelly Wise and our Midwife, Kate Paxton for their help and nurturing support during and after the birth.
