O’Brien’s Tower

O'Brien's TowerThis shot shows the view standing on the Cliffs of Moher looking back at O’Brien’s tower where the previous three photographs were taken from.  We got to the Cliffs late in the day and the park staff had gone home as well as most of the tourists so we got to take a long walk out onto the cliffs where you’re not really supposed to go (as determined by the wall we hopped to get there!).  In Ireland during the summer it doesn’t start getting dark until well after 9:00 PM but the sun was pretty low in the sky and I was able to manipulate my camera settings to get a shot that looked as if it were dusk even though it was probably only around 7:30 or 8:00 PM when the exposure was made.
