Simplex Model E-7

This year my wife and I spent Thanksgiving in Prescott, AZ with her dad and brother.  It was a nice change to relax in one place for the holiday rather than making four different stops to see all of the family as we’ve done every year since we got married.  We took a day trip to Jerome since Jessi […]

Cotton

Here’s another shot that I liked from the cotton fields.  I love the textures and colors in this one.  I was pleased to be able to capture the texture of the cotton and surprised by the interesting texture created by the blurred background.

Wright

Jessi and I went with a friend and took a tour of Taliesin West last Saturday and it was absolutely amazing and inspiring. It was a much needed experience as I’ve been completely bogged down lately with school and work. I am in the middle of my teacher certification courses and have spent the last couple of […]

New Chanter

My new instrument just came in this week from pipe maker, Kirk Lynch of Missouri.  It took him about a year and three months to make and I’m very excited to have received such a quality instrument from a craftsman such as Mr. Lynch. Wow, photographing instruments indoors without a lighting kit is VERY difficult.  […]
