Yesterday was a hard day. I didn’t sleep much last night. I needed a distraction this morning so I started going through some old files.
This is an historic church I noticed on a photo walk with my friend Susan in downtown Phoenix back in January. I always liked this shot but never got around to putting it up. I made this one with my old 7D and a borrowed 28mm prime. I find minimalist photography very much appeals to the graphic designer in me. I like clear, simple design that exploits space, line, texture and other basic elements without a lot of clutter.
On another note, I’ve been working with Adobe Lightroom 4 for about the last two weeks and I am enjoying how much simpler and easier it is to sort through and selectively develop a batch of files.
